Tennis Tournament Registration ends Wednesday, March 19, 2025.
Tennis Tournament Format
Eight divisions of doubles and two divisions of singles will be available for registration. Each division will have a maximum of eight teams or eight singles players divided into two groups. Team numbers (doubles or singles) will be assigned by random drawing with the top half in Group A and the bottom half in Group B. The tournament committee may change your division if warranted but the teams/players will be notified in advance
The two groups (A, B) for each division will play round-robin matches, one full set against each team in their group (3 sets total), winner of each group will advance to the finals to play a full set for the championship. The second place team from each group will play a consolation match (one full set) for 3rd place.
USTA and Deuce + 1 rules apply. Each full set will be played with Deuce + 1 scoring. If the score is deuce (40-40), one team or player must win the next two consecutive points to win the game. If neither team or player wins the first deuce, there will be one more deciding point with the receiving team choosing who receives the serve. For mixed doubles, the server and receiver will be of the same sex. In singles, the receiver chooses which side to receive from, Deuce or Ad. A standard 7-point tie-break, win by 2 points, will be played when the set score is 5-5 (five games all) instead of the traditional 6-6. Group winners are determined by most sets won, most games won, fewest games lost, head-to-head score.

Pickleball Format
1. Men’s / Women’s / Mixed Matches: Set partner/team round-robin within the bracket with a 3-game guarantee (larger brackets have 5 game guarantee before semi-finals). 20 min time limit on matches – warnings will be called at 15 minutes and 18 minutes into match play. 10 min break between matches has been allotted for every round to enter scores, get a snack, use the restroom, and switch courts. If players are all ready to continue before the 10 minutes break is up, next round will commence when all players signal with their paddle in the air.
2. Scoring: All games are First to 11, win by 2, or team with the most points at the time marker.WINS are prioritized over POINTS. Points will be used as a secondary scoring measure when teams have equal number of wins. If WINS and POINTS are equal, points scored AGAINST your team will determine standings.
3. Breaks: Each side may call only one, 1 minute break during the 20 minute play period. When the final time warning is called at the 18 minute marker (2 mins remaining), No breaks can be called.
4. Tied at the Time Marker: If teams are tied and time is called, play the point out. Whoever either successfully ends the rally (either returns the ball and the other team misses the shot, or if the other team hits the ball out or steps in the kitchen, etc.), takes the match and the win even if they were not the serving team.
